For over 141 years, Stratford East has been making theatre that matters in the heart of East London.

Stratford East has always been a place for bold, generous, and socially engaged theatre. A place where artists can take risks, where people hear stories they’ve never heard before, and where everyone is welcome. From groundbreaking productions to our work with young people and local communities, we have a proud tradition of making theatre that reaches far beyond our stage.

Stratford East is a charity, and the generosity of our supporters makes all this possible. Your support helps us create ambitious new work, nurture the next generation of artists, and open our doors to young people and communities making theatre accessible to all. It gives us the freedom to take creative risks, champion new voices, and keep this glorious theatre thriving for generations to come.

Thank you for being part of our story.
