Bringing Stratford East into the heart of Newham, creating opportunities for local residents and community organisations to connect, collaborate and shape what we do.
Creative opportunities for everyone
Learning & Participation
Connect, create, learn and grow with Stratford East—all completely free.
Stratford East creates opportunities for young people, schools and Newham communities to connect, create, learn and grow through shared creative experiences.
Inspired by Stratford East’s artistic programme, we champion imagination, creativity and access, ensuring more people, regardless of background or experience, can get involved in theatre.
All of our CONNECT, CREATE, LEARN and GROW programmes are completely free to take part in.
Our work is delivered through four key strands:
-
-
Giving young people (ages 11–19) in Newham the chance to explore their creativity, develop new skills and make their voices heard.
-
Connecting schools and young people (in Newham Secondary Schools and beyond) with Stratford East through creative learning, workshops and theatre-making.
-
Supporting the next generation (aged 18–25 from East London) of theatre-makers and creative talent.
