The Cabaret Clown with Alexander Luttley

The Cabaret Clown with Alexander Luttley

The clown has ultimate power. As both the highest and lowest status character, clowns play with the audience to evoke pure emotion. When this steps into the cabaret world, the opportunity to subvert stereotypical clown characters and further engage an audience opens up a whole array of hilarious and ridiculous opportunities to have a crowd eating out the palm of your hand, without having said a single word.

This is an introductory workshop for people with some performance experience (but not necessarily in cabaret or clowning). Acting, dance, puppetry - just an understanding of stage and workshop etiquette.

Date: Thu 16 Feb 2023
Time: 6.30pm-8.30pm
Location: Theatre Royal Stratford East, E15 1BN
Who is this workshop for?: Anyone with any performance experience
