DUTY MANAGER
This is a casual position, working unsociable hours. Working closely with the Deputy Duty Managers and Bar Supervisors, you will ensure the Theatre continues to provide a safe environment along with a high level of customer satisfaction to theatregoers and the general public alike – maintaining the famous warm and friendly atmosphere this Theatre is renowned for.
The Duty Manager is primarily responsible for the safety and security of all users of the spaces run by Stratford East (SE), including the customers of the bar/restaurant, users of rooms, and rehearsal spaces. The Duty Manager will be confident in managing the operation of these areas independently and will adhere to all current Health & Safety requirements of the organisation.

ASSISTANT BAR MANAGER
We are looking for an Assistant Bar Manager to work closely with the Stratford East Trading (SET) Manager to ensure consistency of service across the week and in the absence of the SET Manager. They will ensure the theatre continues to provide a high level of customer satisfaction to theatre-goers and the general public - maintaining the famous warm and friendly atmosphere in our bar and ensuring a high level of customer service. They will support the SET Manager with scheduling staff, stock control, ordering and event/ entertainment management. The role works for Stratford East Trading, Stratford East’s (SE) trading subsidiary.

These will take place on Friday 11 July and Wednesday 16 July, 4-5pm - no need to book, just come to Box Office during this time and a member of the team will direct you.

FRONT OF HOUSE ASSISTANT - FIXED TERM
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team and ensure a high quality experience for our audience members. We are looking for someone with experience in a customer facing role and who is eager and enthusiastic to learn new skills.
This is a casual position working during show times for Theatre Royal Stratford East’s Front of House department. Working closely with Front of House Supervisors, you will ensure the theatre continues to provide a high level of audience satisfaction to theatre-goers and the general public - maintaining the famous warm and friendly atmosphere Stratford East is renowned for. This position is fixed term until 03 January 2026.
