THE HOUSE THAT BREATHED by Lola Rose Wood
Inspired by the true(ish) stories of the people I met whilst WWOOFing around France, who fed me on wine and words and weeding, this play is an exploration into the consequences of following our dreams. Namely, the dream of abandoning the urban rat race and ‘escaping’ to the countryside to try and live sustainably and self-sufficiently off the land. In a world where we’re all searching for our own Walden Ponds, is Drew and Lena’s love – for the trees, for the soil, for each other – enough to make it work? You can’t fill a belly on dreams…

ORIGINAL SONGS by Sarah Carvalho
Sarah is currently working on their debut EP - hyperbolic statements, and is trying out a few of the songs they currently believe will be in it. This is a test out for them on new songs as well as fresh songs that they have rarely played live, to see what it is like for the audience as well as for themself. They would love for the audience to respond on whether the songs feel coherent and all fit together for an EP.
