Boy Blue: 25 Stories

Boy Blue: 25 Stories

To celebrate 25 years as the UK’s most celebrated hip-hop dance theatre company, Olivier Award-winners Boy Blue return to where it all began for an explosive, deeply personal world premiere: 25 Stories.

Co-founders Michael ‘Mikey J’ Asante MBE and Kenrick ‘H2O’ Sandy MBE team up with acclaimed poet and playwright Inua Ellams (Barber Shop Chronicles, Doctor Who) to transform 25 years of memories into a striking show of sound, word, and movement.

Drawn from voice notes, letters, films, and raw conversations contributed by generations of Boy Blue dancers and alumni, 25 Stories turns real lived experiences into a high-octane stage memoir. Built through an intimate call-and-response process, Ellams' poetry fuels Asante's new score and Sandy's iconic choreography - bringing the collective story back to full circle.
