Welcome to PETRICHOR, a new dystopian, immersive theatrical experience!

We are so excited to welcome audiences to a socially-distanced theatrical experience at Stratford East. Come and explore ThickSkin's PETRICHOR, a new immersive show filmed for 360° virtual reality. Alongside their virtual tour of PETRICHOR, the experience can be viewed on smart-devices or laptops, with or without VR headsets.

PETRICHOR is a story set in a parallel universe, exploring escape and connection and follows two characters who live in a monochrome world where every day is the same. Featuring two performers, an original soundtrack and projected animation, PETRICHOR’s story is told through bold movement, animation and film.

Arriving at Stratford East from Tue 08 - Sat 12 Dec 2020, there are two ways you can enjoy PETRICHOR, either in person at our theatre (socially-distance) OR from the comfort of your own home using your own devices (no VR necessary)!

This is the first show in a series of MATCHBOX plays by ThickSkin – bringing high-quality digital theatre to new audiences, with a focus on engaging young people with the arts.

About ThickSkin
