RAPUNZEL BEST SELLING SHOW IN THE THEATRE’S HISTORY

• Rapunzel is the best-selling show in the theatre’s 133 year history
• A relaxed performance is being held on 2 January 2018
• 2018’s panto confirmed as Sleeping Beauty

Theatre Royal Stratford East’s production of Rapunzel, directed by Associate Director Pooja Ghai, has broken all box office records with the highest income and attendance for any show in the theatre’s history overtaking the previous record-holder - 2016’s Sinbad the Sailor. Over 25,000 people have already booked tickets to see Rapunzel this year and over 40% of those were first time visitors. In addition, 4,110 local school children attended as part of Newham’s Every Child A Theatre Goer scheme.
