During October half term, young people from East London worked with artists Tash Brown and Abigail Sewell to create a series of monologues inspired by our audio play series 846.

The monologues interrogate and celebrate identity, power and community within the prism of Black Joy. Listen below to each of the participants' work!

846 is an audio play series in response to the murder of George Floyd in May 2020. Several of the short plays were performed live as part 846 Live at the Greenwich+Docklands International Festival.
