Youth Theatre
Our Youth Theatre is a friendly, welcoming and creative space for 11–14 year olds living in Newham.
This free weekly programme gives young people the opportunity to explore theatre, make new friends and develop their confidence and creativity. Working with a professional director, members take part in theatre games, practical activities and creative exercises, learning new skills and working together in a supportive environment.
Youth Theatre runs throughout the academic year, from September to July, with a new group starting each September.
2026/2027 Cohort
Our 26/27 Youth Theatre is now underway, with weekly sessions taking place on Tuesday evenings at Stratford East from September 2026 to July 2027.
Applications for 2026–27 are now closed and places are filled.
Demand for Youth Theatre is high and we often have a long waiting list. We may be able to offer places if they become available.
Please note that Youth Theatre is only open to young people who live in Newham.
Current members can download the full programme dates and session times.
We look forward to working with our 26/27 Youth Theatre members for a year of creativity, collaboration and theatre-making.
