About Young Company
Stratford East Young Company is a group of actors and theatre-makers aged 18–25, primarily from East London*, who are interested in taking the next step towards a career in the arts.
Young Company offers an alternative route into professional theatre, giving members the opportunity to develop their skills, work with professional directors and theatre-makers, and build connections within the industry.
The programme is a supportive and inclusive space where you can develop your creativity, confidence and practice alongside other young theatre-makers.
Young Company members
Take part in regular workshops exploring performance and theatre-making techniques.
Work collaboratively with other young actors and theatre-makers.
Learn from professional artists and industry practitioners.
Develop skills, confidence and creative practice.
Build a network of contacts within the theatre industry.
Work with professional artists towards performing in a large-scale production on Stratford East's Main Stage.
