ASSISTANT DIRECTOR - BLOODSPORT: AFTER HELEN OF TROY

We are looking for an Assistant Director for our production of Bloodsport: After Helen of Troy by Ava Pickett, directed by Lisa Spirling. This is a Stratford East production generously supported by Eleanor Lloyd Productions and Eilene Davidson Productions.

Interviews will be held in-person at Stratford East. Interviews are expected to be held in the w/c 22nd June 2026.

FREELANCE TECHNICAL STAFF

We are always looking for freelance technical staff of all disciplines - Stage, Lighting, Sound, Wardrobe, Stage Management, Scenic Construction, Scenic Art - to join us and help support our Production department in facilitating our shows.

Your details will be kept on our files in accordance with our Data policy for 36 months and then removed in accordance with GDPR. Please note, submitting your details to this form does not guarantee we will be able to offer you a role at TRSE. 

 

LEARNING & PARTICIPATION ARTISTS 

The Learning & Participation team at Stratford East would like to meet experienced and passionate theatre artists, who would be interested in delivering across our programme of work. This includes four strands:  

  • Newham Young People (ages 11 – 19) 
  • Talent Development (ages 18-25) 
  • Schools Programme for secondary schools 
  • Newham Neighbours (our local community programme for adults and groups)  

Were interested in meeting artists with a minimum of three years facilitation experience. Whether you have experience working with young people, community groups, or schools - we want to hear from you. Please note we are not offering specific roles with us at this point, we’re looking to expand our network of artists. 

The deadline for applications is Wed 13 May, 12pm 

Stratford East reserves the right to close applications early should we reach a maximum level of interest
