The health, safety and well-being of our audiences, artists and staff is of paramount importance. We're taking every measure to ensure everyone feels safe and welcome when visiting Stratford East. Please read below the following processes and procedures that'll be in place during your visit over the next few months. These will be reviewed and updated as government guidelines change.

All staff and visitors to wear face coverings unless exempt
Temperature checks upon arrival
Contactless tickets -you can access your e-ticket from yourStratford East account.You do not need to print your e-ticket.(A member of the Box Office team will also be available on the day should you have any trouble locating your e-ticket.) If we have your mobile number on record you'll also receive your e-ticket via text.
One-way systems throughout the building
A small selection of snacks and drinks can be purchased from our kiosk. You can also pre-order any drinks or snacks through the link in your text e-ticket. Food and drink can only be consumed once you're seated inside the auditorium. You can remove your face covering when eating or drinking, but must wear it at all other times.
All visitors aged 16 and over will need to sign in using the NHS Track and Trace app or our own sign-in service - you can also do this through your text e-ticket.
Food will be available from Island Vibez Kitchen's new Roti Shack, located just outside the Bar.
We will not be able to admit latecomers and we are unable to allow re-admittance into the auditorium once the show has started.
We have also carried out a risk assessment for employees working within our building and are committed to maintaining a safe workplace and to meeting our duty of care to our employees. Key steps that we are taking cover:
Self-declarations for staff and visitors regarding health
Maintenance of 2m social distancing for all employees. Where this is not possible, other mitigation methods are in place
Increased cleaning, hand sanitizer and sign posting for employees for hand washing
Reduction in room capacities
Lateral flow testing for staff
