Masterclass: Writing Monologues with Dipo Baruwa-Etti

Masterclass: Writing Monologues with Dipo Baruwa-Etti

In-person masterclass: Writing Monologues with Dipo Baruwa-Etti

Join Dipo Baruwa-Etti, writer of THE SUN, THE MOON, AND THE STARS for this two-hour workshop, specifically designed for emerging writers or those who are starting off their playwriting journey.

The workshop will give you an insight into creating a monologue and Dipo sharing his own writing process, as well as some practical writing exercises to explore the various forms a monologue can exist within.

Participants will also have access to discounted tickets to see THE SUN, THE MOON, AND THE STARS on either Mon 14 or Tue 15 Jun at Stratford East.

The session will be held on Sat 19 Jun, 11am–1pm in person and socially distanced. It will require participants to wear face coverings at all times, unless exempt. It is open to anyone aged 18+ who has some writing experience but would like to build on this.

Due to the extraordinary challenging position theatre makers have found themselves in over the past 15 months, we're offering this masterclass for free. There are a limited number of places available so you will need to apply to take part. We are prioritising those who identify as emerging writers and those who live in East London.

THE SIGN UP DEADLINE HAS NOW PASSED. Thank you to everyone who signed up, we'll be in touch by the end of the day on Thu 10 Jun.

If you have any questions about the workshop, please email
