Corporate Social Responsibility
We make theatre for, and inspired by, our community in Newham, East London. Our theatre represents our culturally and socially diverse community in the work we make, the people we employ and our audiences and participants. East London is a lively, multicultural and vibrant hub of London life and we are proud to be part of it.
Through our subsidised ticket schemes and our community outreach, we directly engage over 12,000 young people from Newham and the surrounding boroughs annually with productions, workshops, projects and events.
Inclusion is at the heart of everything we do and we are proud to be a part of the Ramps on the Moon consortium, working to increase deaf and disabled artists in theatre.
As a registered charity, we rely on our partners to help us to create shows that are current, political, inclusive and representative of London.
To find out more about our community involvement both on and off the stage, contact Claudia Winter on 020 8279 1124 or email cwinter@stratfordeast.com for more information.
