Calling all budding young artists in East London, up to the age of 11! Have you been getting creative during lockdown? Here’s your chance for your very own artwork to be featured on Stratford East’s theatre seats.

We’re on a mission to put specially designed covers on every socially distanced seat in our auditorium, and we’d like nothing more than to fill our theatre with your faces!

What should I draw?
Simply draw and colour a picture of your own face on a piece of white A4 paper (make sure it’s portrait) and write your first name and age underneath. You can use whatever materials you'd like to create your picture: pencils, crayons, paint - get creative! Here's an example…

How do I submit it? 
Scan or photograph your masterpiece, and then email it to Alternatively, you can post it to us at: Learning & Participation Department, Theatre Royal Stratford East, Gerry Raffles Square, E15 1BN.

What’s the deadline? 
The competition closes on Thu 26 Nov 2020, so get your entries in to us before then!

Where will my artwork go? 
Winning entries will be featured on our website and social media channels.* The winning entries will be featured in a collage on the back cover of our theatre seats.

Who decides the winners? 
The winners will be selected by a panel of judges, including our Artistic Director, Nadia Fall.
