** Due to the ongoing works being carried out by Thames Water, from 17 June the shopping mall will be closing the access from the back of Theatre Royal from 6.30pm in the evenings. Access from Stratford Station to the Broadway will still be available. If you are visiting the theatre in the evening you will need to walk via the main road. **
In Stratford
Once you have reached Stratford by public transport, or parked your car, there are three easy approaches to Theatre Royal Stratford East:
From Stratford Station, the theatre can be approached through Stratford Centre, which is a covered shopping mall located in front of the station. There is clear signage leading to the theatre at the centre of the shopping mall.
Alternatively, turn left out of Stratford Station and walk along Great Eastern Road until you see Stratford Picturehouse and Theatre Royal Stratford East (both to your right).
From Stratford High Street, enter Stratford Centre and follow signs for the exit to the Theatre Royal Stratford East.

Parking
There is no parking at Theatre Royal Stratford East, and a clamping scheme is in operation within the area.
We are situated next to the large pay&display multi-storey car park above Stratford Centre. There is also a smaller pay&display car park just past the Picture House. You can find details under the Stratford section of the Newham Council 'find a car park' website.
