Young People’s Committee
Theatre Royal Stratford East’s Young People’s Committee are recruiting enthusiastic young people to get involved with this exciting opportunity.
We are looking for young people aged 17 to 24 to join our Young Peoples Committee to help develop a new show to be performed March 2013.
This brand new show will be performed by our cutting edge poetry crew ‘Poets’ Platform’.
You will be collecting stimulus material for the poets by talking to young people about their political views and opinions, no matter how big or small.
We will need you on board from the begging of October.

More about the Young People’s Committee
The Young People’s Committee is an important part of Theatre Royal’s work. We support the work of the theatre, contribute ideas, meet the youth groups to see what they’re up to, meet Kerry Michael (Artistic Director) to discuss what work we are doing; we also assist other departments within the building with their day to day work.
What we need from you
- Attend a monthly meeting at the theatre
- Commit to 2 hours a week working within the building
- Commitment to spend time outside of the building interviewing people
- Enthusiasm for theatre and the community
