Presented in association with The South African State Theatre.
From the makers of Township Stories ("one of the most remarkable pieces of theatre to come out of South Africa", Lyn Gardner, Guardian)
Three years ago Paul Grootboom's Township Stories stunned audiences with its raw energy, great soundtrack and dark humour. Now Grootboom brings us the astonishing Foreplay, which includes many of the same wonderful cast from South Africa.
Soldier, preacher, waitress, teacher, schoolgirl, politician, prostitute, thief and housewife. They each lead different lives but are linked together by the urgent need to fulfil their desires...whatever the consequences. Foreplay is in turn shocking, beautiful, poignant and very funny. Hot off a world tour for its only UK performances, Foreplay is set to blow audiences away once more.
