STRATFORD EAST SINGERS
About
Stratford East Singers are our singing group, made up of all ages and abilities.
Led by soul singer Byron Gold, the group meets every Weds 7pm - 9.30pm at the theatre.
Since they formed in October 2011, Stratford East Singers have gone from strength to strength with over 135 people taking part so far.
They have performed at a variety of different of theatre shows and cultural events including BABEL, The Harder They Come concert, Heartfelt and the recent BT River of Music event.
We’ve had over 10,000 people watch the group perform!

What style of music do the Stratford East Singers sing?
The group doesn’t focus on a particular genre. We cover a variety of different styles to reflect the diversity of East London.
Do you have to pay to join the group?
Members will have to pay a fee of £33 for the term. This will culminate in a showcase in the auditorium.
Do you have to audition?
No, everyone is welcome regardless of experience or ability! All we ask for is regular commitment.
