Poets' Platform

For 14 to 24 year olds
Wed evenings 6pm - 9pm

Calling all spoken Word Artists / Poets / Song Writers / MC’s with original work they would like to perform.  

Beginning Sept 12 - 5 initial workshops, with a mini showcase at the end to celebrate your work.

Work with award-winning performance poet, playwright and former World Slam Poetry Champion Kat Francois.

Former members of Poets Platform have performed in Poets Platform the show and Heartfelt  at Theatre Royal Stratford East. Under the Skin as part of the Five Boroughs Festival.

They were placed 2nd best poetry group in UK Poetry Slam Championship 2012.

Individually members have performed at the Poetry Café and The Roundhouse.

Just recently one of our members was awarded 3rd place in the Roundhouse Poetry Slam 2012
