We’re hosting auditions once again for the BBC’s Norman Beaton Fellowship on Mon 5 Dec 2016.
This is a wonderful opportunity for 8-10 professional actors - who haven’t trained at an accredited drama school - to spend a morning working with a BBC radio producer and, in the afternoon, audition for the BBC Radio Drama Company. There are two, 5 month contracts on offer and previous winners have come from TRSE, including Ayesha Antoine, Deeivya Meir and Debra Baker. Pooja will be co-judging our auditions along with the BBC Producer Sasha Yevtushenko.
Auditionees need to prepare two contrasting monologues (lasting no more than three minutes in total). They don’t need to be memorised (it’s radio!). 2-3 people will get through from our round to the Semi-final in London on 21 February 2017. The Final will be 20 – 21 March 2017.
Interested applicants should email NBF@stratfordeast.com for an application form. (Application Forms should then be returned by 21 Nov 2016; and successful applicants will be notified of their audition place by 29 Nov 2016).
