Theatre Royal Stratford East today (Mon 29 Jan) announces that local schools and colleges will take over the building in Donate our Stage, beginning today and runs until the Fri 2 Feb. This initiative will see over 130 students and teachers take over the stage for a week.

Participants will work with professional theatre staff to get their hands on lighting equipment, sound borads and work with directors in the rehearsal rooms. This opportunity extends Newham’s Every Child’s a Theatre Goer free ticket offer for schools; giving students even more insight into the process of making theatre.
