Broken Square

Broken square is a theatre production written to explore the relationships and subsets that exist within culture.

The play draws contrasts between two capital cities Lagos (Nigeria)  and London (UK). Both with similar energy but very different historical and political context spawning people that are not only worlds but minds apart.

Broken Square is a metaphor for life as we know it within its constant cycles, that as mere humans we can barley control; we are however puppets for fates finger tips and destiny’s laughter.

The Production encourages dealing with one’s own root issues as appose to employing avoidance techniques, or distractions; etc. money, fame, sex.

It deals with how the unknown may catalyse or inflame a situation that could otherwise be defused.
